The show was inspired by the novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery Anne of Green Gables from 1908. Amybeth McNulty, born 7 November 2001, is daughter of an Irish father and a Canadian father as well as an Irish mother. Amybeth was born on the 7th of 2001 in Ireland. She'll turn twenty. Amybeth McNulty stars as Anne 13, a thirteen year old who endured an abusive childhood in orphanages and the houses of strangers. Anne gets sent by mistake in Prince Edward Island in late 1890s. There she is together with Matthew Cuthbert and Marilla Cuthbert. As the series ends, the year is 1919, and the characters have a great time; Gilbert is 55 and remains deeply loving Anne from Green Gables.
